Job Description
The Project Manager & Human Resources Data Analyst position manages HR projects, createsreports, and provides analysis of various human resource metrics, programs, and initiatives. With the recent transition to Oracle this position has the opportunity to impact the future of HR reporting and analytics, make recommendations for improved HR practices/services, and develop automated processes for added efficiencies
Responsibilities
- Identify and research standard metrics, analyze workforce data and identify trends by campus and/or administrative/academic area. Analyze, research and explain outliers in the data.
- Conduct studies, perform research and prepare reports for leadership.
- Analyze requests to determine best data sources display methods.
- Create ad hoc reports.
- Review, interpret and recommend revised practices or approaches based on data analysis.
- Manage and lead HR projects, keeping them on track and progressing on established timeline.
- Manage and lead process improvement projects.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- Experience:
- Experience in querying/extracting, analyzing, and compiling organizational data.
- Experience working with management on data needs and utilizing tools such as spreadsheets and presentation software to organize, display, and/or communicate data analyses.
- Experience in project management and successful process improvement implementations.
- Advanced skills in Excel and knowledge of PowerBI.
- Excellent written and verbal skills; high accuracy in written work.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to creatively determine what data to access and collate into meaningful and clear manner to drive decision making.
- Ability to identify process improvement needs and create and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to manage projects and keep them on track.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification:
- PMP Certification
- Experience:
- Experience working in an HR generalist role or in HR functional areas. Familiarity with Human Resources data.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of Smartsheet product
- Knowledge of Oracle reporting products
Work Location

Compensation and Benefits
- UT market range: MR12
- Anticipated hiring range: $65,000 - $70,000
