Job Description
The Office of Human Resources is seeking to add two new members to our team in the role of HRIS Consultants. As of January, UT has implemented a new system replacing our HRIS, ATS, and other functional support systems that are critical to day to day operations, resulting in the need for additional office support. The HRIS Consultant role will support the UTK Campus by troubleshooting DASH problems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, creating reports, and implementing process efficiencies.


Responsibilities
  • Ensure HR data accuracy and integrity; correct and identify problems
  • Create and generate HR reports and metrics for internal and external use to aid in decision making
  • Provide system support and training to HR partners and end-users; identify training needs and develop and deliver training as needed
  • Create, update and assess job aids
  • Identify and resolve issues by recommending and implementing solutions
  • Test system changes and new functionality to confirm roles and systems operate as expected
  • Identify trends in data problems to resolve ongoing data problems
  • Manage special projects including managing timelines and working with campus partners to complete processes
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend and implement processes improvements
  • Create and implement innovative solutions to address deficiencies

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or related field
  • Experience:
  • 2 years HRIS experience
  • Experience with HR software
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Knowledge of HR processes and terminology
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent technical abilities and the ability to research and troubleshoot problems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience with Oracle

Compensation and Benefits
  • UT market range: MR11
  • Anticipated hiring range: $60,000 - $65,000
